1. What we collect
Account information (name, email), the research content you create (projects, references, ideas, drafts, experiments, tasks), and basic usage needed to operate the Service. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image.
2. How we use it
To provide and improve the Service: storing your work, powering search and analytics, and sending the content you submit to an AI provider to generate responses you request. We do not sell your personal data.
3. AI processing
When you use an AI feature, the relevant text (and any images you attach) is sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate a response. We send only what's needed to fulfil your request and do not use your content to train models.
4. Storage & security
Your data is stored in our database and scoped to your account. We use industry-standard measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
5. Your content, your control
You can edit or delete your projects and content at any time. Deleting a project permanently removes its references, ideas, drafts, experiments, and related data.
6. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You may request account deletion, which removes your personal data and associated content from our active systems.
7. Third parties
We rely on infrastructure and AI providers to run the Service. Academic metadata is retrieved from open sources (OpenAlex, Crossref, arXiv, Semantic Scholar) using only your search terms.
