Last updated June 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Thesisly (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use Thesisly
Thesisly is built for students and independent researchers. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the research questions, notes, drafts, references, and other content you create. You grant Thesisly a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
4. AI-generated output
Thesisly uses AI to generate suggestions, critiques, summaries, and drafts. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying facts, citations, and originality before relying on or submitting any work. Thesisly does not guarantee academic outcomes.
5. Academic integrity
Thesisly is a research assistant, not a substitute for your own scholarship. You agree to use it consistent with your institution’s academic integrity policies. Do not use the Service to plagiarize or misrepresent authorship.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it to violate any law or third party’s rights. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or its AI quotas.
7. Availability & changes
The Service is provided “as is” and may change over time. We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thesisly is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
